Govind madhav Herbal Tea was born out of the passion of its principal promoter Dr. Satish Gosain for providing pure, natural and organic Herbal Tea free from Caffeine and Tannin that will benefit human health without harming the environment. For the last 38 years, Dr. Satish Gosain, a graduate in Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University has worked in different capacities in various Hospitals in Delhi and presently running Dr. Bharti Nursing Home in Hari Nagar New Delhi India. Apart from medical practice as a successful medical consultant he is giving lectures/discourses on Bhagavad-gita & Srimad Bhagavatam in various ISKCON temples and centers in India.

His passion for natural lifestyle and health through herbs and need for an alternative drink to Black/Green tea to progress in Krishna Consciousness motivated him to study Ayurveda and develop an Herbal Tea Infusion (tisane) in 2002. Being a doctor he experimented on various herbal combinations and their beneficial effects.He started preparing an Herbal Tea infusion (tisane) as a modest hobby as well as need to replace Black Tea. He used to prepare a little quantity and distribute to devotees in ISKCON temples who wanted to leave black tea and it helped. This initial preparation developed in 2002 in a span of nine years has transformed into Govind Madhav Herbal Tea.

Then he realized that this delightful, revitalizing, refreshing herbal tea with delicious taste and exotic flavor is not only helpful to Krishna Conscious devotees but it is a superb alternative to black tea and its body rejuvenating effect and health benefits are excellent. It is the tea for all ages. His wife Dr. Bharti Gosain a medical postgraduate with over 37 years of research and consulting experience is a staunch Krishna devotee initiated in ISKCON always was a motivational force behind this venture. He now devotes part of his time to Govind Madhav Herbal Tea apart from his Nursing Home, family and social commitments. Govind Madhav Herbal Tea does not contain Black/Green Tea or Tulasi Leaves and is free from Caffeine and Tannin. He understands the auspicious position of Tulasi maharani in Krishna consciousness so Tulasi has not been added in Govind Madhav Herbal Tea.
