Serving Govind Madhav Herbal Tea
(Recipe for 2 cups)
Hot Milk Tea:
Boil 1 cup of water and 1 cup of milk. Add ½ spoon of Govind Madhav Herbal Tea. Boil for 2 minutes. Add sugar or Honey to taste. Strain and serve Hot. A pinch of grated Ginger can also be added while boiling for additional benefits.
Hot Lemon/Ginger Tea:
- Boil 2 cups of water and add ½ spoon of Govind Madhav Herbal Tea and a peel of half lemon or a few drops of Lemon juice. A pinch of grated Ginger can also be added. Boil for 2 minutes. Add sugar or Honey to taste. Strain and serve Hot.
- Then serve while fresh and hot. If your tea gets too cool, it is best to enjoy it over ice verses re-heating the brew.
Cold Tea shake:
Boil 2 cups of milk and add ¾ spoon of Govind Madhav Herbal Tea. A pinch of grated Ginger can also be added. Boil for 2 minutes. Strain and cool. Add sugar or Honey to taste. Add ice and shake in a blender mixer. Serve as ice cold shake.
Ice Cold Lemon/Ginger Tea:
- Boil 2 cups of water and add ½ spoon of Govind Madhav Herbal Tea and a peel of half lemon or a few drops of Lemon juice. A pinch of grated Ginger can also be added. Boil for 2 minutes. Add sugar or Honey to taste. Strain and add to an ice filled glass to serve ice cold. It can also be refrigerated for days and taken later on.
- Depending on your preference, you can enjoy drinking your beverage plain or with a bit of milk, lemon, honey or sugar.
- Water, Milk and Tea ratio can be adjusted as per individual taste.
- In Asia, people typically drink tea without accompaniments.
- In England, a small amount of milk is often added for extra body and smoothness. In Russia, brewing tea and adding lemon is common. Raspberry jam is sometimes added for sweetness.
- Always use fresh water to make the Govind Madhav Herbal Tea and prepare in clean cookware of cast iron, glass or stainless steel (other than aluminum).
